25.01.2012 - "Something you made"

OK , I need to fess up on this one. Yes this is something I made, but not today. It had been in a box of stuff in my parents garage for about 15 years, and I have only now rediscovered it.

    Hello! I've been reading your photo a day posts and I just wanted to say g'day and that this quilt is lovely.

    I want to learn quilting but it seems very mathematical and logical. I am neither of those two things...

      Hi Allison. Lovely to hear from you. Don't be put off trying patchwork and quilting. There are lots of ways to get the piece together. Stay tuned and I will show you a great quick method called "paper piecing" that doesn't envolve maths.
