Rose's Hat
When a girlfriend recently came to visit with her three daughters, she asked me to put together a hat for each of the girls. They all chose a colour, and Rose wanted green. So I grabbed a ball of 8 ply in Guava from Bendigo Woollen Mills, and played around with design.
Like most of the hats I make, I started off with the crown shape, and then played with design. I've used a mix of half treble for the shorter stitches, and treble for the longer stitches.
The flower looks a lot bigger in this picture than in reality, but I do like how it came out. Just hope Rose likes it.
